SAT

The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is the most widely given and accepted standardized test for college admissions in United States and beyond. It is a multiple-choice, computer-based test created and administered by the College Board. It is offered seven times per year on Saturdays, and it takes 2 hours 14 minutes to complete the test.

Most students start taking their SATs at the beginning of their senior year (12th grade) however, we strongly encourage our students to take it in the spring of their junior year (11th grade) after completing the PSAT test (Practice SAT) in the fall of the same year. Any additional SATs may be taken during the senior year to improve results.

Students use their student accounts to register online for the test on the College Board website.

SAT scores and high school grades are strongly predictive of college success.

Students sign up online for the test on the College Board website, using their student accounts. They choose their preferred test center and pay securely at the end of the registration.

For test dates beginning August 24, 2024, the SAT registration fee is $68, plus a $43 international fee.

QSIT campus is open on all test dates, and the following Sundays. We offer Sunday testing opportunities for students who don’t wish to be tested on Saturday due to religious convictions.
